“Expanse” is the latest creation by Dj PayRoLL on the Good House Keeping Records imprint. This is a beautiful record that takes you on an exquisite spacey deep ride. The inspiration for the record come from being at a late night after hours party in NYC where the vibe was deep and groovy. He used a "toy piano” for the melody to help lighten up the mood of the record and balance it against the more deep melodic textures. As with all his productions there are some nice congas that help drive the groove and push the energy along. The lush cords really set the mode of the track giving it a warm sonic hug. Over all it’s a very well balanced track that can work early in the night or deep into it. The record’s stylistic vibe is sure to excite people who know quality house music.
